With over 30 years of teaching experience, Ione is a highly experienced teacher who is renowned for her relaxed and encouraging approach to teaching students of a wide range of abilities. You’ll benefit from step-by-step demonstrations, individual guidance, and enjoyable group painting sessions.
We will explore the unique qualities of watercolour through both traditional methods and playful, experimental approaches. Simplifying the landscape, creatng atmosphere, and developing texture, always with an emphasis on creativity and discovery.
Tom Benjamin
October 5th- 11th 2026
Tom Benjamin is an experienced tutor and member of the NEAC. This course is focused on developing observational skills and helping each student get across what moves them about the subject.
Painting will be plein air; looking at capturing effects of light, form and distance. Tuition will be in oils, but students are welcome to work in whatever media they choose.
